Free Septic Pumping for Chemo Recipients
At 1-2-3 Septic Services, we believe in supporting our neighbors when it matters most. Going through chemotherapy is an exhausting battle, and the last thing a patient or their family should have to worry about is a septic backup.
Furthermore, chemotherapy treatments introduce strong medications into the body that are eliminated through wastewater. These specialized chemicals can severely disrupt or completely wipe out the healthy, active bacterial colony inside a home’s septic tank, making routine maintenance and proper care absolutely critical during treatment.
That is why we partner with Pumps For Patients, a dedicated nonprofit organization that facilitates free septic pumping and system maintenance for cancer patients currently undergoing chemotherapy.
How the Program Works
We are proud to serve as a participating service provider in the Pumps For Patients network across Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
Whether you are a patient in need, or a neighbor wanting to help, there is a place for you in this mission:
Apply for Free Assistance: If you or a loved one is currently receiving chemotherapy and relies on a residential septic system, you can apply directly through the nonprofit to have your tank professionally pumped and inspected at no cost to you.
Support the Mission: Pumps For Patients relies on the generosity of donors to fund these essential services. Every contribution goes directly toward paying for a service call that protects a patient’s home and health.
